#5: Editing

 My little experience on editing  

    I edited a few videos of my family trip using Adobe Premiere. Most of the transition is based on the rhyme of the song inserted video to make it not so abrupt, it is playful, but not really cinematic. However, the camera work is from my parents, and it is not pre-planned to serve for editing. As the videos are not stabilised and long enough so it did make the editing a bit more challenging. Still, I can't say I have much experience in editing.  

 The style that I aim for editing in my media product

    As I mentioned before, I would work with drama. Dramas' stories are normally based on real-life events, following different groups of people and featuring their struggles in life. Therefore, elements of realism are really important to create an impact on the audience and make them feel related to the character. I suppose to achieve that effect, it requires continuity editing.
